Finely hand-knotted weave of 550,000 knots per square meter with unique pictorial mihrab (prayer niche) design of central vase bearing floral foliage in burgundy, cornflower blue & green flanked by symmetrical vases bearing floral foliage set against blossoming floral sprays within a cream background. A cartouche with palmettes set against vases bearing blooming flowers within lower half of rug. The entire framed by an indigo border of palmettes & tendrils. Ex-gallery displayed & in pristine condition.
